Jim Gilmore, Associate Director/Co-Owner of AIO, is Professor of Journalism & Screen Studies at the University of Michigan-Dearborn where he teaches courses in media production, documentary studies and photojournalism. For 30 seasons, Jim has worked behind the scenes on advertising, promotion & administration. He holds a B.A. from Kalamazoo College and M.A. in Broadcasting and Film from the University of Iowa. Jim is an award- winning documentary filmmaker and the President of Acadia Pictures. His most recent documentary, Cracking Aces, focused on the women who broke through the glass ceiling of professional poker.  Currently, he is in production on a new documentary about major league baseball scouts.
