Emily Cavanaugh returns to AIO as an intern after spending two summers as a student in the program.  She is currently a sophomore at Cornell University's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences where she is majoring in Entomology.  Emily has been a volunteer at the NYC Audubon Society working with horseshoe crabs, was a Discovery Guide Leader at the Central Park Zoo and was chosen as a member of the Youth Advisory Council at Seaworld/Busch Gardens for 2019 and 2020. While she'll miss her 2 dessert millipedes and blue death-feigning beetle back home, during her freetime you'll find her reading, listening to music, spending time and practicing her bass guitar.  We're looking forward to having you back this summer, Emily!
